Beginning from this year Allelammie Cultural Association is also active in the formation of junior schools. The increasing awareness of educating young people on subjects concerning environment, cinema, music and the new media, has encouraged us to get into the schools with formation projects. Presently the active projects are: Recycling in the primary school Padre Pio da Pietralcina in Pisticci; TgWeb in the primary school Padre Pio da Pietralcina in Pisticci.


Newscast Web
The project Newscast in classroom on the internet (TGWEB) aims to involve young people in the analysis and the critical reading of the television information for training them in the understanding and the interpretation of all phenomenons of the communication in general through the creation of a newscast made by themselves. The active involving in the creation of a newscast aims to give them the concrete tools for the coding and decoding of the information, so that young people understand the most hidden mechanisms of it. The (TGWEB) is going to be the weekly information TV report addressed to young people in an age between 13 and 18 years old, and it’s going to deal with local, regional and Italian local news, music curiosities, cinema, sport, environment and culture with a special care to the language, the images and the graphics.

The on line services on a web format, will let the young people use all the internet potentials (for the ease of access without boundaries and without time limits, for the editions filing, etc…). The project provides for the possibility of a collaboration with the LUCANIA FILM FESTIVAL, L’ASSOSTAMPA BASILICATA, RAI SAT, RAI 3 BASILICATA, TVBLU, VIRUS MEDIA, la gazzetta del mezzogiorno, il quotidiano di Basilicata etc., some media which give their own specific competences to teachers and students. The chosen place for the realization of the project will be the classroom itself and the spaces of Namavista Film and/or Allelammie Mini-stages in Rai Basilicata and Blue TV editorial offices. At the end of the school year an examiner Commission, composed by journalists, directors, psychologists and experts in the communication for young people is going to judge and give a prize to the best works.


Techniques of recycling
Starting with giving the young people some information on the subject of the urban waste and the recycling techniques, a new classroom is going to be created, where everyday rubbish is seen like a didactic resource for stimulating the culture of the re-using and recycling. Playing, touching and transforming materials and scrap objects let young people learn that recycling is amusing and they rediscover the value of the "objects" giving indications on the creativity and calling into question the culture of the disposable. The laboratory is addressed to all the classes of the primary and junior schools.

Allelammie Cultural Association is going to structure the project “Recycling techniques” and make the new generations aware of the separate collection of rubbish for recognizing the value of the recycling, developing awareness processes towards the management of the resources and the consumption and facilitating the understanding of the effects of our way of living on the environment. The project aims to positively intervene on everyday comportment.
