Apart from the Lucania Film Festival there is a series of other activities characterized by a strong social care.

It’s the case of the collaboration with Cinema and Human Right , an international cinema exhibition that intends to observe, to spread and to debate the complex and exciting subject of the human rights in the world. The exhibition will be carried out by the Latin America cinema festival of the Human Rights, "DerHumALC" (Latin Derechos Humanos América y Caribe), that has been held on for 7 years to Santiago del estero (Argentina), and which is organized by a group of intellectual people. These people formed the cultural Institute Multimedia DerHumALC, with which the Lucania Film Festival has already stipulated a collaboration. "DerHumALC" is connected to an international circuit of analogous festivals - Human Rights Film Network - that take place in other regions of the world on the subject of the human rights and denounce exploitation, marginalization, persecution, violence and ill-treatment to which individuals or groups of people are submitted because of their social situation, their poverty, their religious or political choice, or simply because of the colour of their skin or their sex.

In the next future Lff Circus International is going to start. It is a cinematic redistribution project whose purposes are going to be continuing the works of cinema promotion and increasing of the territorial value, which have been the purposes of the Lff.

Lff international is going to be carried out in one of the fullest world cities of immigrants from Lucania (Toronto, Buenos Aires). It is a project about Lucania that aims to become the international cinematic point of reference, through the creation of a competition ad hoc which is addressed to films makers from Lucania of the whole world. It is a project that aims to involve Institutes of culture, embassies, consulates, communities of people from Lucania, schools of cinema, cinematic academies, with which it can build concrete future perspectives for the young films makers from Lucania. So that our Region will be able to express, in the next future, a strong cinematic identity in the international panorama.

Lff International is also an occasion for promoting the image of the Basilicata: (exhibition/fair in which promoting cultural, artistic, landscaping and gastronomic beauties of the Basilicata region). Organization of tourist packets of concert with the operators of the sector to let the flows of visitors increase in the places of the cinema from Lucania.
